I made this awhile back but had not posted it. I think I was just a little overwhelmed with writing down all the details that go along with this one. If I forget something just send me an email. I used my 3 X 3 gift box pattern to make the box and then added the pattern paper. I punched out 3 black suede flowers, stacked them up and added a brad to decorate the flap. Around the bottom of the box I added a piece of dandelion green ribbon with a piece of black velvet ribbon and a buckle. For the closure I used a little Velcro circle.
Once the box was complete it was time to make some cards to fill it. I wanted the cards to all have a different purpose but didn't want to use to many different stamp sets. Searching through my sets I pulled out 2 that I thought would work. One was an old set but I always liked it and hadn't ever used it much. It was time to get the rubber dirty ;) I stamped the little duck, colored it in with watercolor pencils, punched it out and layered it with cardstock. Then added it on top of the polka dot paper. Added to word window punch strips and brads to complete the card.
For the next card I used the little RX bottle, stamped it and colored in the heart with watercolor pencil. Punched it out and layered it with black suede paper (love the suede paper), Stamped the side of the card with a sentiment and added suede and pattern paper to the bottom. Then finished it with a couple of brads.
Card number 3 was done with the same stamp set as the first card. I stamped the design with black ink and then colored it in. Punch another square from black suede, cut in half and added to the corners of the card. Wrapped dandelion green ribbon around the card. Punch a scalloped square from striped paper and layered it with the stamped piece.
Card number 4, going back to the same stamp set used in card 2, I stamped the clock and colored it in with watercolor pencil. Punched out the image and layered it with square and scalloped squares. On the bottom of the card I added a piece of stripped paper and 2 brads, then stamped "celebrate". Using Karen Foster snap stamps I added "time to". To finish everything off each envelope was stamped with a matching sentiment.
