Stuck in a rut, hmmmm. . .

I love the new Sky paper and cardstock and could not wait to play with it. Only to find out my brain is still stuck in wedding mode. Oh well, sometimes you just have to go with what you are handed. I also seem to be stuck doing square cards. I just like the size and feel of them I guess.
I took a piece of the soft sky cardstock and ran it through my cuddle bug using the textile embossing folder (another favorite *wink*). I added a piece of striped sky pattern paper along the side of the embossed cardstock. Love the stripes! Then using my slit punch I made a scalloped edge out of black cardstock. On-top of the black cardstock I added the Now and Forever fuzzy rub on (looks much better IRL). Then layered it over the two sky pieces. Stamped a 2 ¾ inch white circle with The Greatest Love stamp and layered it with black cardstock. After adhering the circles to the card I then trimmed off the
overhang. Using a ⅝ inch circle punch I punched out 3 small circles to add to the flowers, added large black brads and attached them to the card.
Card ingredients: Soft Sky and Blue Bayou cardstock SU, Sky pattern paper SU, Raven and Bazzill White cardstock Bazzill, Textile embossing folder and Cuddle Bug, fuzzy rub-ons Heidi Swapp, The Greatest Love stamp Art Warehouse Limited Edition, Black ink Palette, large Thumbtack Brads Karen Foster, slit punch SU, small circle punch EK Success, flowers Making Memories.
